Saw the cutest little girl (about 3 yrs old) today while waiting in line at the auto place. She was with her grandpa. He said "Look at your pants and shoes. I can't believe how dirty you are already." She said "Well you shouldn't have dressed me in white today." He said "Well you're right about that." She goes "You shoulda put jeans on me today." He said "Well that's true." Then she went over to their SUV and opened all 4 doors and the hatchback and left them all open. He turned around and said "What are you doing? Why'd you open all the doors?" She said "I'm airing out the car for you grandpa." He started laughing. She had an answer for everything. She was the cutest little thing. I wanted to kidnap her.
This country flannel wearing redneck-ish Texan grandpa with his half black little grandaughter, and he was as proud as he could be. Nice to see the world progressing. Quite different than when I was growing up in the south.
